WKF-certified karate clothing

The World Karate Federation (WKF) is the largest international governing body for karate with 198 member countries. It was founded in 1990, is the only karate organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee, and has more than ten million members. The WKF organizes the Junior and Senior Karate World Championships, which are held every two years.

WKF certified karate uniforms Karate uniforms that are certified by the WKF have high quality standards and are allowed to bear the "WKF APPROVED" mark. There are two modalities:

KUMITE: Acrylic fabric, lightweight and breathable KATA: Thick cotton fabric Both models must display the manufacturer's brand on the front of the jacket and on the back of the neck. The wording "WKF APPROVED" is indicated on a special label at the bottom seam of the jacket directly above the manufacturer's label.
